I am a qualified and accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with both an honours degree and a diploma in counselling. My accreditation is with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to their code of ethics and complaints procedure.
I have been a full time practising therapist for over five years and have several thousand hours experience.
Location: West Yorkshire

I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist in West Yorkshire, ofering individual, group and some couples sessions and am available to work in west Leeds, York, Harrogate and the surrounding area. Rates from low-cost to full rate, depending on income and time of day we meet.
In addition to my general counselling practice, I have a specialised practice helping people with anger and I run groups focused on anger. I you need help with anger and/or violence or domestic violence, get in touch.
Most of my counselling work is face-to-face but I provide support by telephone where needed. I see individuals or couples and I also offer group therapy.

Therapeutic Background
Steve trained as a Person-centred counsellor for five years before becoming a full-time counsellor and facilitator. From October 2001 to July 2006, Steve worked as a voluntary counsellor at Wycombe Counselling Service in High Wycombe, part of MIND. Steve also has extensive EAP experience and has managed a busy primary care mental health service. He now runs his private practice, facilitates groups, trains and also works three days per week for a Leeds counselling service.
